Governor Committees - 2009 |
|
The Governing body, runs a number of committes within the school, with various responsibilites - some of statutory within law !!
Committes are a group of governors with delegated responsibility for making decisions on behalf of the full governing body, which is bound by the committee’s decisions and must take responsibility for them. Committees may also make recommendations to the full governing body, for its approval.
Our governing body can also delegate responsibilities to an individual governor or to the headmaster. The same rules apply as for committees when this occurs.
