Dear Parents,

HOLIDAYS & INSET DAYS:          After last week’s PaLs’ meeting it was clear that as much notice as possible for holiday and INSET days is very helpful to parents. The PaLs really are helpful to us all as we strive to make our school ever stronger. My thanks to them. (Minutes of the last meeting are beneath this note)

This year the last two days will be INSET days and so effectively the children break for summer on Friday 23^rd July. We already know that Friday October 22^nd this year will

be an INSET day (for all the local Catholic primary schools).

The term dates for next year are complicated by various factors including not knowing yet when the Year 6 SATs will be taken by the children, though we know they will be in June rather than May. I will send this school’s dates very soon but suffice to say everybody we have asked – including the PaLs - seems to have a different opinion!
