FOUNDATION STAGE – SAFETY ISSUES

We are constantly thinking about the security and safety of our children. Please help us in the following areas:

1       Please do not park in the school car park.

Children are arriving and leaving through the car park and parents bringing cars in create a moving hazard. You will have seen that before long we will have a new entrance alongside the green fence.

2       No parent will be allowed to walk through the Foundation Unit

Reception Class door will be locked when children arrive.

3       If you are late you will need to ring the bell and wait.

4       Please arrive in good time and collect at the correct time. On occasion staff have had lunch break reduced from 25 minutes to 10 minutes as they have been left caring for children whose parents have not arrived. This isn’t fair to the staff.

Doors open in the morning for Foundation children at 8.40 a.m..

Morning Nursery ends at 11.40.

Afternoon school for all Foundation Stage children ends at 3.10
