Welcome..
The School Governing body is made up of parents, teachers and members from the local community - not forgetting the Headmaster!. Governors play a vital role within the School and assist Bernard in day to day running and our strategic direction. We like to see ourselves as a critical friend, and always have the interests of our children and Jesus within our hearts.
Everything we do, and decisions we make are accessible by all, and can be found within this section of the school website, or popping into school.
Finally, if you have anything to discuss please get in touch,

Governor Committees - 2009 |

The Governing body, runs a number of committes within the school, with various responsibilites - some of statutory within law !!
Committes are a group of governors with delegated responsibility for making decisions on behalf of the full governing body, which is bound by the committee’s decisions and must take responsibility for them. Committees may also make recommendations to the full governing body, for its approval.
Our governing body can also delegate responsibilities to an individual governor or to the headmaster. The same rules apply as for committees when this occurs.
