Diversity & Inclusion at English Martyrs
On Saturday 29 May, English Martyrs School took part in a virtual Eid Celebration that was hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association with participation from many VIPs from the Royal Navy, the Army, Mayors from around the country and other dignitaries. The purpose of the event was to promote community cohesion, understanding and appreciation, something which is fundamental to our beliefs as Catholics at EMS. Our Year 2 students were represented in this video format which I am sure you will agree is very special, culminating in their signed and beautifully sung performance of 'Love One Another'.
One of our Year 6 students also represented our school as a 'Young Ambassador' delivering a speech she had written on the topic of Diversity.
